Job Description:
Manufacturing Technician
This role involves providing technical support for equipment used in our manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment.
You will be responsible for monitoring machine output during your shift and ensuring that all cells are running at their optimal cycle time to meet specific targets.
* Install and validate equipment
* Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot issues
* Perform skilled maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, pneumatics, and electrical systems
* Lead on maintenance and process issues
* Interpret blueprints and schematics
* Certify and train manufacturing associates in production processes
* Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues
Your Role within the Organisation
You will report to a Process Engineering Manager as part of a team of approximately 20 people, which includes process engineers and manufacturing technicians.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum level 6 qualification (Trade or Third-level equivalent)
* Electrical and mechanical skills are desirable
* Technical and fault-finding skills
