Warehouse Operator
What you need to know: Matrix Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a well-established team in the medical device manufacturing sector in Belfast. This is a permanent Monday – Friday day shift position (09:00 – 17:00; some weekend or after-hours work may be required).
Your New Job:
The successful candidate will ensure all stock and process activities are carried out correctly, safely, and in line with the client’s practices, procedures, and quality system.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Accurately check, pick, pack, and dispatch goods, and process incoming stock and returns in line with company procedures.
* Verify and record goods received, reporting discrepancies or issues promptly to supervisors.
* Maintain clear communication with all departments and uphold safe, clean, and organised storage areas.
* Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Operate material handling equipment (MHE) or forklifts safely and participate in required training sessions.
What are we looking for?
* At least 2 years of warehouse experience across goods in, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control, with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Forklift license is desirable.
* Team-oriented and adaptable, with good organisational and communication skills, able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
* Proficient with warehouse computer systems (SAP advantageous).
