Job Overview
We're seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Cyber Defence Senior Analyst.
This role involves managing and mitigating cyber threats, conducting incident response investigations, and implementing security controls to safeguard our organisation's assets.
You will be responsible for overseeing the detection and response to potential security breaches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address vulnerabilities, and staying up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures
* Conduct thorough root cause analyses of security incidents and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
* Maintain current awareness of emerging threats and trends in the field of cybersecurity
* Develop and deliver regular security training and awareness programs for staff
* Collaborate with IT peers and other stakeholders to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities
Key Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Cloud, and networking technologies
* Experience with threat vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, security information and event management, and cloud technologies
* Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CRTO, GIAC, or OSCP
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
