Financial Operations Analyst

The candidate will report to the Head of Financial Operations.
Main Responsibilities
Regulatory and Financial Reporting
– Production of regulatory and financial reporting for FRS102/103, IFRS17 and Solvency II.
Work closely and provide support to the internal and external Financial, Actuarial and Risk teams.
Additionally, provide support in the production of Statistical Regulatory Reporting for the Credit Institution and support remediation of relevant queries from Central Bank of Ireland.
Financial Operations activities
– Provide inputs and support for financial and technical reporting for the Reinsurance Undertaking in relation to critical activities such as:
Act as the primary contact for multiple markets and external insurers.
Perform validations checks to ensure accuracy and data efficiency.
Process monthly data reconciliations between markets and insurers.
Production of Technical Accounts P&L/BS.
Assist in budgeting and reforecasting activities to support financial planning.
Management of Reinsurance Software and reinsurance portfolios.
Risk & Control activities
– Perform activities related to the Internal Control Framework to ensure operational resilience, integrity and regulatory compliance:
Provide comprehensive support for all internal and external audit activities.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly risk reports for monitoring of Key Risk Indicators.
Completion of internal control checks by adhering to operational processes, proactively identifying areas for improvement and proposing actionable recommendations.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial service industry.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in financial related areas and/or accounting/risk management.
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Preferred knowledge in Regulatory Reporting for Insurance and/or Credit Institution.
Control oriented with strong analytical skills and a focus on achieving high accuracy and efficiency.
Appetite to develop a career within a large group.
Acting with integrity and honesty.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
