Summary of role: The Financial Crime MI and Analytics team is responsible for supporting theFinancial Crime functionby analysing operations and risk management system data to develop appropriate and dynamic reports and dashboards to support risk controls and KPIs. The role needs to deliverintelligent, innovative, and insightful MI and dashboards to inform decisions, realise measurable business benefit and meet regulatory deadlines and requirements. Key accountabilities/responsibilities are as follows: As part of the Financial Crime analytics team, you will: Utilise advanced data analysis techniques toanalyse complex data sets to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies. Utilize insights from investigative teams to rapidly deploy new fraud detection methods. Prepare detailed reports based on findings from data analysis. Develop and maintain advanced data models and algorithms to support various business functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights. Design and implement data visualisations and dashboards to communicate key findings to senior management. What you will bring : Minimum 2+ year of intermediate analysis experience. Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in the financial services sector Experience with data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, Excel, etc. Proactive self-starter capable of working effectively with minimal guidance. Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex findings clearly. Investigating and Reporting - Investigates incidents or issues to determine the cause, circumstances, and contributing factors; documents detailed findings and suggests and implements necessary resolutions. Technical Communication/Presentation - Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
