Shift Manager - Food Manufacturing Location: West Cork Hours: Shift-based i.e 4 days on, 4 days off & 4 nights We're seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with a blue chip multinational food manufacturing company.
Based 35 minutes from Cork City the Shift Manager job is key to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting the wider operations team.
What You'll Do Lead and support your shift team to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, GMP, and housekeeping.
Oversee training, development, and performance of your team.
Monitor production costs and help drive efficiency improvements.
Work closely with Quality, Logistics, Technical, and Maintenance teams.
Drive continuous improvement across quality, processes, and systems.
Manage HR-related tasks, including performance reviews and system updates.
What You'll Need 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing.
Flexible to work shift i.e 4 days on, 4 days off & 4 nights Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and production processes.
Experience with SAP/MES/SCADA (an advantage).
