What You’ll Be Doing:
Production & Workshop Mastery
* Collaborate with the Workshop Foreman and Job Scheduler to keep projects on track and on time.
* Lead and coordinate assembly teams to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
* Oversee machining operations and ensure materials flow seamlessly through the factory.
* Keep logistics moving smoothly — from goods in/out to stock control and waste management.
Logistics & Installation Oversight
* Ensure timely dispatch and top-tier installation across projects.
* Manage delivery vehicles, tools, and factory equipment like a well-oiled machine.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
* Uphold gold-standard quality controls across all stages — from workshop to client site.
* Drive excellence in GMP, ISO, and EHS standards.
* Tackle non-conformance issues, incident reports, and customer feedback with confidence.
* Inspect and sign off subcontractor work and installations.
Leadership & Team Culture
* Inspire and lead teams across production, warehouse, and installation.
* Oversee subcontractor fitters and direct employees — from recruitment to performance.
* Cultivate a can-do culture with continuous improvement at its heart.
Process Improvement & ERP Implementation
* Champion Lean and Six Sigma principles to boost efficiency.
* Take the reins on ERP implementation to digitise and streamline operations.
Strategy, Finance & Growth
* Partner with leadership to align operational strategy with company goals.
* Contribute to budgets, track KPIs, and spot cost-saving wins.
* Represent operations in senior meetings and be a voice for progress.
Who we’re looking for
Must-Haves:
* 5+ years in an Operations Management role (10+ preferred) within manufacturing.
* Proven leadership skills with a passion for people and performance.
* Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
* A strategic thinker who thrives on solving problems and improving processes.
* Skilled in logistics, inventory, and production planning.
* Excellent communicator with top-tier IT and reporting skills.
Bonus Points For:
* Green Belt (or above) in Six Sigma.
* Working knowledge of ISO14001 and H&S standards.
* Change management success in a scaling environment.
