This is a newly created senior tax role offering the right candidate the chance to work closely with the Tax Partner and help shape the future of the firm's tax offering.
Job Description
* Work closely with the Tax Partner to provide compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Take the lead on a wide variety of tax advisory projects while maintaining involvement in compliance work.
* Manage and oversee the delivery of tax services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Provide technical support to junior staff and assist in their development, with an aim to gradually manage and build out the tax team.
As Senior Tax Accountant you will act as a key point of contact for clients, offering proactive advice on tax issues and planning opportunities.
Requirements
* Qualified Tax professional (AITI / Chartered Tax Advisor) with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
* Minimum 45 years post-qualification experience in practice, within a medium-sized accountancy firm in Ireland.
* Strong background in both tax compliance and advisory services, with the ability to balance both aspects effectively.
* The successful Senior Tax Accountant will have a proven ability to manage client relationships and provide commercially sound advice.
