Key Purpose of Role

To support the sales and marketing functions so that the business continues to grow, customers are well served, and all online and offline marketing & sales touch points are kept up to date and running smoothly. The role will act as a bridge between the sales team, marketing, and web operations.

Key Responsibilities

Here are the main duties you'd expect this role to cover:

* Assist with sales support tasks:
* Prepare quotes, proposals, follow up enquiries.
* Maintain customer databases / CRM with accurate customer & lead data.
* Liaise with service / operations teams to ensure sales orders are fulfilled.
* Assist/Execute marketing activities:
* Coordinate email marketing campaigns (e.g. newsletters, promotional emails).
* Manage social media posts & scheduling (LinkedIn, possibly others).
* Help develop marketing materials (flyers, brochures, online ads).
* Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness (e.g. open rates / web traffic).

* Website content & maintenance:

* Update product pages (adding new products, revising specifications).
* Publish blog posts / news / FAQs.
* Monitor website performance, check for broken links, ensure correct images / layouts.
* Liaise with web developer / IT team where needed.
* Administrative tasks:
* Manage internal calendars, organise meetings.
* Coordinate quotes / orders / invoicing support.
* Maintain physical or digital filing as needed.
* Customer service support:
* Handle incoming sales & service enquiries (phone / email).
* Escalate issues to appropriate technical / service staff.
* Ensure good follow up to maximise satisfaction and repeat business.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Good written & verbal communication skills (English).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word).

Basic experience updating websites (CMS like WordPress, Shopify or similar).

Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks / deadlines.

Desirable

Digital marketing experience (e.g. SEO / Google Ads / content marketing).

Familiar with CRM systems

Graphic design basics (Photoshop / Canva) for creating promotional assets.

Experience with data analysis / reporting (web analytics, sales KPIs).

Qualifications

* A relevant qualification in business / marketing / administration would be desirable but not necessary.
* Any certificates in digital marketing or web content management are a bonus.

Personal Qualities

* Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong customer-focus; responsive and friendly.
* Problem-solver: willing to dig in and help sort out issues.
* Adaptable: as sales and marketing landscapes (and websites) change, the role will need flexibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Some metrics you can use to measure success:

* Number of leads followed up / quotes issued within X time.
* Accuracy / timeliness of website updates.
* Engagement metrics on marketing campaigns (email open / click through, social media).
* Customer service satisfaction or response time.
* Support to sales – e.g. conversion rate from quote to order.

Salary & Working Hours

* Competitive Salary – DOE
* Working hours: Full-time, typically Monday-Friday. Some flexibility may be needed for campaigns or trade fairs.
* This role is office based with the successful candidates required to be in the office full time

Pay: €32,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
