Civil Engineer
Job Location: Mayo

Inform3 are seeking a Civil Engineer to join a large civil contractor carrying out WWTW projects in Mayo.
The client is seeking candidates with previous experience setting out experience and for someone who is able to work off their own initiative and carry responsibility.
Civil Engineer Requirements:
Ensure all work is completed
defect-free
and meets project deadlines.
Set out
detailed
works
based on contract drawings, conducting regular checks.
Oversee the accurate establishment of
level and survey control
for contracts
Identify and implement
value engineering opportunities
where possible.
Maintain
accurate records
, including site diaries, allocation sheets, and compliance documentation.
Address and resolve
technical challenges
that may arise unexpectedly.
Develop and manage
procurement schedules
, liaising with the procurement team to secure necessary resources.
Promote
best practices
across all site operations.
Establish a
safe working
culture
and enforce high safety standards.
Ensure strict
compliance with company procedures and legal requirements
.
Uphold
environmental compliance
across all activities.
Drive a strong
customer focus
throughout the organization
Champion
EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) awareness
among teams.
Civil Engineer Job Specification:
Min.
Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering or similar
Min. 2-3 years site based setting out experience,
Sound knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, Environmental and legal regulations,
Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook,
Experience of temporary work co-ordination a benefit,
Experience of MS project,
Valid Safe Pass/SMSTS/MSIC card holder,
