Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Credit and Structured Products Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily cash flow preparation and reconciliation against bank statements and custodians.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of reconciliations and customized reporting packages for clients and internal teams;
* Responsible for daily cash flow preparation and reconciliation against bank statements and custodians, identifying and resolving breaks promptly;
* Act as primary contact for external counterparties including fund custodians and investment managers;
* Manage credit fund lifecycle events, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables;
* Coordinate with clients and ensure the team is aware of all deliverables and expectations;
* Oversee junior staff, providing training and development;
* Implement process improvements and ensure quality delivery;
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of daily portfolio reporting, system usage, and client delivery;
* Ensure all timeframes and deliverables meet client and trustee agreements;
* Prioritize, complete, and delegate tasks while maintaining high-quality customer service;
* Apply market knowledge and best practices in transaction and data flow management;
* Participate in strategic initiatives to develop leadership skills.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred;
* 5+ years of experience in a related financial or business role;
* Experience with loan operations and credit/debt funds;
* Mentoring and team management experience;
* Strong problem-solving skills;
* Excellent communication skills, professional and organized;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
* Familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and analysis tools;
* Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work accurately in high-volume environments;
* Willingness to work within deadlines.
