Our Financials Tax & Compliance Product Management team is seeking a Product Manager with proven understanding of Transaction and Withholding taxes - specifically, Global Withholding taxes, general principles of VAT, operational accounting and core financial enterprise business applications.
When you join Workday as a Tax & Compliance Product Manager you will:
* Lead product discovery and delivery to help achieve exceptional product outcomes for our customers
* Define and execute the Product roadmap aligned with our overall Financials strategy
* Own the functional application design within your domain
* Apply your combined functional and systems knowledge to analyze customer business processes, implementing required localization requirements
* Collaborate internally with the engineering and QA teams to transform customer pain points into functional specifications and storyboarding
* Build next-generation business applications in a continuous delivery cycle, acting as the voice of the customer and the product management team to ensure product and feature delivery within an Agile environment.
* Develop presentations, mock-ups, flowcharts, and product demonstrations to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of product management experience
2+ years of product owner experience or working closely with product manager to translate customer and market needs into product deliverables and release support through the entire product life cycle
2+ years experience as a large enterprise product manager or Financials system implementation specialist or Indirect Tax Enterprise product specialist.
Other Qualifications
Minimum 2 years Product Management experience with expertise in Indirect Taxes, Tax Determination & Reporting or similar regulatory compliance.
Enterprise system configuration, administration, integration or implementation experience
Passion for building better user friendly enterprise financial applications that enable users to spend less time consolidating data across different systems without sacrificing functionality and compliance
Learning agility, detail oriented, decisive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Initiative taker, early adopter, technology enthusiast
