We are currently recruiting for a full time and catering assistant in our school canteen in Davis College, Mallow, Co.
Cork .
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community.
Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid).
This may appeal to people with school going children.
We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential.
Our employees move between nearby schools for cover purposes.
This position may not be suitable to people in part time education.
The position is also subject to Garda Vetting.
The position of full time Catering Assistant is approx 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift time approx 7.30am -2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The roles involve the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta rice dishes.
Service of small break, lunch and clean down.
It is a very fast paced and busy working environment.
Hot dishes are cooked fresh onsite in our school kitchen.
Previous catering and cooking experience, knowledge of HACCP an advantage.
