Job Description:
As a Renal Specialist Nurse, you will play a vital role in the management and coordination of our haemodialysis service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing monthly bloods, analysis, and prescriptions related to anaemia and renal mineral bone disease.
* Conducting transplant work-up and follow-up.
* Administering and monitoring the Hepatitis B vaccination programme.
* Compiling and reporting monthly and annual audit data for the AIS.
* Planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs through audits.
* Engaging in nurse prescribing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement.
* Working autonomously, managing a designated patient workload.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Nursing and NMBI registration.
* Postgraduate Diploma in Renal Nursing.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
* Proficient in administration and IT.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
