Post Summary:
The School Manager is responsible for the provision and management of a high-quality, responsive administrative service to support a diverse portfolio of School activities. The role is
responsible for ensuring all School administrative processes and systems effectively facilitate strategic and budgetary planning; academic administration and curricula development; enhancing research funding opportunities; staff recruitment and management; and the implementation of, and adherence to, School and College policies and strategies. The School Manager provides strong and positive leadership for the administrative staff team.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
The specific purpose of this employment is to fill a School Manager vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from maternity leave. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return. If the postholder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €90,865 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. )
