Job Family: QA Specialist - Calibration and Maintenance
Job Overview:
Establish and maintain the Preventative Maintenance and Calibration schedule for all equipment.
Maintain documented records for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
Conduct a review and update of all procedures and forms on regular basis.
Maintain accurate records of all equipment related activities.
Maintain documented records and certificates for all calibrated equipment.
Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
Initiate and investigate non-conforming events when necessary.
Prepare and participate in equipment audits.
Partner with team members to develop plans that minimize production downtime.
Pack and ship equipment for maintenance/calibration and repair when needed.
Observe and practice all company safety rules and requirements, including ISO, FDA, and internal policies.
Participate in qualification/validation activities in terms of generating protocols and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ/SV and TMS' activities.
Responsibilities:
The individual applies detailed functional knowledge to complete assignments in effective and resourceful ways, while also identifying opportunities to improve work processes, methods, or tools.
Work is performed with minimal supervision and a high degree of independent judgment.
The individual is trusted to complete challenging assignments independently, and assist supervisors in coordinating and guiding team performance.

Experience Required:
Individuals at this level typically have 3–5 years of experience in support functions.
They are highly proficient in their area of expertise, apply independent judgment regularly, and are trusted to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Experience should reflect responsibility for coordinating tasks, and identifying opportunities to improve work processes, tools, or methods.
