Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role is focused on driving individual and team sales performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and managing the daily coordination of Commercial and Agri sales within the branch.

* Achieve individual sales targets and coordinate in-office sales efforts including prospecting, upselling, and cross-selling.
* Organize and manage daily office operations, ensuring team members are clear on goals and responsibilities through regular check-ins and planning.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by managing queries and escalating more complex or technical issues where needed.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, systems, and procedures.
* Provide leadership and daily support to the sales team, creating a collaborative and motivated environment.
* Work closely with internal teams to enhance the customer experience across all products and services.
* Support account management for Commercial and Agri clients, including renewals, upsell opportunities, and policy adjustments.
* Assist customers at the initial stage of insurance claims, in line with established procedures.
* Take responsibility for overseeing collections and outstanding payments.
* Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development support.
* Handle office administration for Personal, Commercial, and Agri lines of business.
* Act as a key point of contact between the branch, head office, and senior leadership.
* Support other operational duties as needed by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified to APA (Approved Product Advisor), APP (Approved Product Professional), CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner), or hold Grandfathered Accreditation.
* Must meet the requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & Probity Standards.
* Experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar customer-focused sales environment is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support a team in a high-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and customer service.
* Comfortable using digital systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office), with good attention to detail and time management skills.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Able to adapt quickly to new challenges and take initiative in driving team performance.
