Our Projects

Position
Senior Civil BIM/CAD Engineer – REF: 2535a
Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting a Senior Civil BIM/CAD Engineer to join our design team. The initial role will include:
* Design of projects from conceptual phase through to completion – energy projects including renewables, pipelines and installations (gas, oil, water or wastewater), industrial buildings & utilities.
* Use of Autodesk programs (AutoCAD, Revit) to produce high‑quality project drawings from design through to As‑Built stage, working under the direction of our engineers.
* Use of other software such as Civil 3D, Navisworks and the Autodesk Construction Cloud.
* Combination of traditional 2D drafting and BIM/3D modelling.
The successful applicant will receive guidance and training to familiarize them with our methodology and standards. Training in our BIM/CAD software will also be available where needed.
The role is based in our Portlaoise office, with consideration for applications for our Dublin office.
Requirements
* Relevant higher education qualification and/or commensurate industry experience in civil engineering.
* Experience in developing detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
* 10 years post‑education experience as a Civil BIM/CAD Engineer or similar role.
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to meet agreed timelines and maintain a high standard of work.
