Responsible To: Accommodation Manager

Main Purpose of Job: The service, cleaning and support of guest and common/public areas to a consistent five-star standard under the direction of Accommodation Management. Helping to create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Liaises with: Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, Dispatch

Job Title: Accommodation Supervisor

Main Duties:

1. Arrive on duty and identify areas to be serviced, cleaned, or inspected as stipulated by Accommodation Management.
2. Inspect specific public and member areas, back of house, and associate changing areas per established standards.
3. Inspect guest accommodations after stayover and departure to ensure standards are met.
4. Supervise daily operation of accommodation services and cleaning of public areas.
5. Ensure the provision of high-quality service consistently.
6. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
7. Plan, organize, and monitor the workload of Accommodation Assistants.
8. Develop and train staff in systems, methods, and procedures.
9. Follow standards regarding linen, products, and cleaning equipment.
10. Maintain departmental vehicles and equipment.
11. Monitor cleaning schedules for indoor windows and deep clean services.
12. Report maintenance issues affecting guest experience or safety.
13. Provide in-room amenities as per standards.
14. Respond promptly to guest privacy and comfort requests.
15. Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
16. Attend weekly meetings and briefings.
17. Anticipate and respond to guest needs, communicate effectively with team members.
18. Adhere to all procedures and highlight uncertainties to management.
19. Fill in as an Accommodation Assistant if needed due to absence of team members.
20. Work varying schedules, including day, evening, or weekend shifts, as required.
21. Participate in training programs.

Other Duties: The above is not exhaustive; perform any other duties as directed by management.

Qualifying Criteria:

* Previous housekeeping/accommodation experience.
* Experience in 5-star hotel environment preferred.
* Good organizational skills.
* Customer-focused attitude.
* High-quality work standards with attention to detail.
* Strong team player with multitasking ability.
* Positive, cheerful, courteous demeanor.
* Flexible working hours.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Additional languages are an advantage.
