We are seeking a Head of Service with strong social care experience for a top organisation in Kildare that is offering 2 days from home a week and travel to other sites.Responsibilities:Support the CEO in achieving strategic objectives and full participate as a member of the Senior Management Team, taking collective responsibility for the corporate governance of the organisation.Develop short, medium and long term business objectives which are turned into effective, affordable and achievable annual service plans, and establish corresponding key performance indicators which conform with or exceed mandatory and or best established guidelines.Develop and implement robust and effective planning and control systems to monitor operational performance against key performance indicators and develop robust action plans to address areas of underperformance.Ensure that predictive management systems are in place to anticipate and manage opportunities and problems in service delivery.Support the CEO and Board of Management to ensure compliance and accountability in respect of all businessDeliver change through partnership with the various internal and external stakeholders.Personally demonstrate behavior consistent with the Values of the Organisation and ensures this is reflected across the workforce.Provide leadership and development of teamExperienceHold a Masters relevant to this role - i.e. Social Work, Social Care Management, or other relevant disciplinePost graduate qualification in ManagementA minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management post or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Head of Service or equivalent roleA minimum of 2 years experience working in the disability sectorComprehensive experience of Risk Management & Health and SafetyKnowledge of Budgeting and Financial ReportingCandidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.Experience in driving changeExperience in successfully delivering service models focused around person centered care
