Currently, we are hiring a Technical Writer to support a very high-profile medical device client in Co. Galway.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation and revision of engineering deliverables, driving documents from draft to completion.
Creating global procedures for the department to standardise across multiple region sites.
Interact with multiple site owners on standards and subsequent standardised documents.
Plan documents and create the draft or framework of a document for the engineer or team.
Make suggestions or corrections in order to make a document more clear and concise.
Initiate document change requests & approvals
Authority
You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements
Level 7 or Higher – Information Systems, Engineering or Relevant
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience
Experience working in a regulated and highly compliant environment.
Previous medical device experience desirable, not essential.
Strong technical writing skills
Strong communication skills
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong PC skills – MS Word, Excel etc
Can acquire new skills quickly and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.
