Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership across all nursing services within the organisation Contribute at Executive level to the hospital's strategic planning and overall operational performance Advise the CEO and Senior Executive Team on nursing, clinical care, and patient safety matters Drive excellence in patient safety, quality, and clinical outcomes, fostering a culture of high ethical standards Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing and engaged nursing workforce Champion innovation and promote a continuous quality improvement culture across the organisation Strengthen clinical governance frameworks, including audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance Lead professional development, education, and continuous advancement of nursing practice Promote advanced practice roles, research, and leadership development, aligning with best practice clinical guidelines Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and financial management of nursing services Implement systems, technologies, and reporting structures to support data-driven decision-making Foster strong multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes Requirements Registered General Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Significant senior nursing leadership experience (minimum 7–10 years) within an acute hospital setting of appropriate scale and complexity Proven ability to operate effectively at executive and strategic leadership level Postgraduate qualification in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline Demonstrated track record in clinical governance, quality improvement, and leading organisational change Excellent leadership, influencing, and change management capabilities Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Benefits A high-profile executive leadership role within one of Ireland's leading private hospital networks A unique opportunity to shape and influence the hospital's nursing strategy at a senior level Competitive executive salary with a comprehensive benefits package Access to leadership development and continuous professional growth opportunities A progressive, innovative, and patient-focused organisation committed to excellence in care.
