Senior Management Accountant Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our organization on a fixed-term contract.
1. Conduct thorough analysis of material usage to identify variances in raw materials and packing materials.
2. Collaborate with operations teams to review usage variances and implement corrective actions to improve data accuracy.
3. Participate in process improvement initiatives related to material usage control and LEAN methodologies to enhance data accuracy and reduce production costs.
4. Assist in preparing plans and budgets quarterly and annually, and load them to external systems for reconciliation with local records.
5. Evaluate monthly reconciliations to ensure they are accurate and approved.
6. Provide financial support to site management in relation to projects, new products, and other business initiatives.
7. Deliver detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis for new product launches.
8. Provide comprehensive full costing analysis for plant expansion opportunities or other capital expenditures.
9. Track cost changes and scenario differences throughout the approval cycle as requested.
10. Review and analyze S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) reports and absorption projections for LBEs (Line Business Expense).
11. Oversee standard cost setting processes and calculations, including integration of overheads and development of monthly absorption for plan, and reconciliation to batch system.
12. Responsible for completion of SCOP (Standard Costing Of Products), standard to standard and actual to actual analysis, product cost change analysis.
13. Represent finance team as a liaison for Pier Process.
14. Collaborate with project managers on trial cost estimates, recharging, and tracking costs.
15. Represent finance team on NPI (New Product Introduction) Team.
16. Work with operations and technical teams on estimating cost savings opportunities.
17. Coordinate and provide data for internal and external auditors.
18. Annual physical stock-take coordination and reconciliation for the site and offsite warehouses.
19. Month-end analysis of OCNIS, Distressed Inventory, Overtime/Payroll, Tech Centre costs.
20. Month-end journals including MUV, CIP, and transfer journal and others as required.
21. Complete month-end schedules such as CSO Payroll, MBR, Overtime, CAR reporting.
22. Prepare performance statements and conduct variance analysis with controller.
23. Load results to external systems.
Requirements:
* Accountancy qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
