Financial Analyst II - Ireland, Dublin Hybrid: Office/Remote. ICON is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. We are seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our diverse and dynamic team.
As a Financial Analyst II at ICON, you will conduct in-depth financial analysis, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Leading the preparation and analysis of complex financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
2. Performing detailed variance analysis and trend identification to assess financial performance and highlight key drivers influencing results.
3. Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.
4. Partnering with business units and senior management to provide financial guidance, recommendations, and support for strategic initiatives.
5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
* 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting environment.
* Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software is a plus.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
