Key Role in Cost Management and Project Delivery
Job Description:
This position requires a skilled quantity surveyor to provide cost management services on M&E projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering project objectives, working closely with project teams to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Responsibilities:
* Developing detailed budgets and feasibility studies for development projects.
* Implementing value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs.
* Preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities, to facilitate competitive bidding.
* Analyzing tender returns and advising on contract award decisions.
* Compiling financial reports to inform stakeholders on project progress and performance.
* Operating the company's cost management system to track expenses and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety management systems.
* Preparing payment recommendations and agreeing compensation costs with clients.
* Conducting programme analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Supervising support staff to ensure seamless delivery of tasks and duties.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, or construction management, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience working on M&E projects.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work proactively and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
* Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to drive informed decision-making.
