Job Description:
Overview: We are looking for Intermediate and Senior Mechanical Engineers with experience in Fill Finish equipment to join our expanding Mechanical Engineering team. Our portfolio of pharmaceutical projects requires experienced professionals to deliver projects to our tier 1 clients in 2024. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work within the Process Mechanical Engineering Team, owning Filling Line equipment packages from design to on-site integration. This role offers opportunities for skill development and career progression within PM Group.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with in-house Fill Finish SME network to ensure design adherence to industry standards.
* Own Fill Finish equipment modules through their lifecycle.
* Specify Fill Finish equipment during design and procurement phases.
* Generate Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, and Enquiry Packages for procurement.
* Evaluate vendor bids in line with client specifications.
* Develop Technical Specifications and URS for client projects.
* Manage each package through kick-off meetings, design reviews, and FATs.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure packages meet project requirements.
* Interface with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure high-quality service.
* Review vendor designs for compliance and interface compatibility.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience with Fill Finish equipment design, in suppliers, consultancies, or manufacturing.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Chemical/Process Engineering candidates with relevant experience may be considered).
* Significant pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector design experience.
* Self-motivated with leadership skills.
* Strong communication skills for technical reviews.
* Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites.
Knowledge of the following areas is desirable:
* Filling and closing equipment, RABs, Isolators, Lyophilisers, Inspection, and Packaging equipment.
* Facility layout, area classifications, and segregation.
* Unit operations such as parenterals, formulation, sterilization, filling, inspection, and single-use technology.
* Facility operations, GMP, regulatory frameworks like Annex 1 and FDA.
