We are currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join a growing, dynamic supply chain team within an innovative life sciences manufacturing company based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. What You'll Do
1. Manage the purchasing of key materials from internal and external suppliers.
2. Ensure timely placement of purchase orders aligned with lead-times and service level agreements.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, warehousing, operations, and customer service teams.
4. Maintain optimal stock levels and contribute to supplier performance monitoring.
5. Support quality and onboarding processes for new materials and suppliers.
6. Contribute to audit preparations and documentation upkeep.
What You Bring
7. 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within manufacturing or a related industry.
8. A third-level qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
9. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics ) is a plus.
10. Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
11. A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
