Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our paediatric service in Monaghan.
* Provide expert assessment and intervention for children with developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
* Focus on enabling participation, promoting independence, and supporting families in everyday routines across home, school, and community environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people.
2. Develop and implement individualised care plans targeting sensory, motor, play, and self-care skills.
3. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with SLTs, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other professionals.
Requirements:
* Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* CORU registration (essential)
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with strong expertise in paediatric services
