The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment delivery across the business, ensuring the attraction, assessment, and hiring of high-quality talent aligned with company growth and workforce planning objectives.
This is a pure talent acquisition role, focused solely on recruitment activities, operating under the direction of the HR Manager and in close collaboration with hiring managers.
Key Accountabilities
End-to-End Recruitment
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from approved requisition through to offer acceptance
* Partner with the HR Manager to deliver recruitment plans aligned to workforce and business needs
* Coordinate role scoping meetings with hiring managers to agree job requirements, timelines, and selection criteria
* Draft, review, and maintain job descriptions in line with company standards
Sourcing & Attraction
* Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, direct outreach, and referrals
* Manage job postings across approved platforms and company careers pages
* Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future roles
* Support employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR and Marketing
Screening & Selection
* Conduct initial CV screening and phone/video interviews
* Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications
* Support hiring managers with interview preparation and structured interview guides
* Ensure consistent, fair, and competency-based selection processes
Offers & Pre-Onboarding
* Prepare offer documentation in line with approved salary bands and benefits
* Manage offer approvals via the HR Manager
* Issue contracts and coordinate pre-employment checks in line with policy
* Provide a smooth handover to HR for onboarding once hire is confirmed
Agency & Vendor Management
* Manage relationships with approved recruitment agencies
* Brief agencies on roles and monitor performance, cost, and quality
* Ensure agency usage aligns with agreed terms and budgets
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with GDPR, equality legislation, and company policy
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and ATS data
* Produce regular recruitment reports (time-to-hire, pipeline status, agency usage, etc.) for the HR Manager

Skills and Experience
Essential
* Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment role (in-house or agency)
* Experience managing multiple roles simultaneously across different disciplines
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Excellent organisational and candidate-care skills
* Familiarity with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards
* Knowledge of GDPR and fair recruitment practices
Desirable
* Experience recruiting in technical, engineering, construction, or renewable energy sectors
* Experience recruiting across Ireland and/or the UK
* CIPD qualification or working towards (advantageous)
