About the Role:

* This is a critical subject matter expert position for high volume, automated contact lens manufacturing equipment.
">
* The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations through diagnosis and correction of line detractors.
">
* This includes using data-driven approaches to identify top line detractors and drive continuous improvement of existing equipment through uptime, yield, and cycle time improvement projects.
">
* Key responsibilities include organizing, controlling, and improving planned maintenance and calibration activities, critically assessing machinery to identify and source appropriate spare parts, and providing technical training to operations and maintenance personnel on an as-needed basis.
">
* Additionally, the successful candidate will own, track, and report on safety, quality, and operational open items, develop relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures, and write and execute process and equipment engineering studies and protocols.

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience.
">
* Master of Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience.
">
* Demonstrated ability to optimize highly automated production lines within a regulated environment.
">
* Lean/Six Sigma and/or project management certification is preferred.
">
