Responsibilities of the Chef:
1. Prepare food items in a timely and hygienic manner
2. Follow established recipes and presentation standards
3. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
4. Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety regulations
5. Support general kitchen cleaning and organisation
6. Monitor and restock ingredients and supplies as required
7. Comply with all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
Requirements for the Chef:
8. Prior experience working in a busy kitchen environment
9. Background in full-service restaurant kitchens is an advantage
10. Ability to perform well under pressure during peak times
11. Professional attitude and ability to lead by example
12. Strong understanding of cleanliness and food hygiene best practices
13. Good communication and teamwork skills
14. Up-to-date Manual Handling and HACCP certifications (training can be arranged if needed)
15. Access to own transport is an advantage but not essential
