Accounts & Administration Assistant - Development

Location: Cork, Ireland
Required for a leading development company operating across Ireland.
The role involves providing financial and administrative support within the accounts department, focusing on invoice processing, reconciliations, and plant hire reporting.
The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input a high volume of supplier invoices into two systems, including Sage Construction.
* Perform monthly creditor reconciliations.
* Carry out monthly bank reconciliations.
* Maintain organized financial records in line with internal controls.
* Generate plant hire usage and cost reports.
* Provide general office administrative support, including document management and data entry.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice or reconciliation queries.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within construction or property development.
* Proficiency in Sage Construction or similar accounting software preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Understanding of project costing or construction-related financial workflows is advantageous.
