Finance Manager – Senior Finance Business Partner

The main focus of the role of the Senior Finance Business Partner is to drive improved commercial performance and support Account Directors and Client Handlers in the needs of their clients and our business.
Primary Responsibilities
* Developing & coaching Client Handlers in financial tools and techniques that will drive better commercial results.
* Preparing and reviewing client budgets.
* Developing costing models for new business proposals.
* Forecasting for business and clients.
* Client profitability / client contribution ratio analysis.
* Partnering with Client Handlers to link operational KPI performance and financial account profitability.
* Supporting the Senior Management team in drafting, developing, implementing and monitoring a multi‑year growth strategy.
* Leading on new business financials.
* Revenue recognition – month‑end function.
* Ad‑hoc variance analysis.
Other Aspects of the Role
* Financial planning for the business including variance analysis and commentary.
* Monthly management accounts preparation.
* Audit liaison for annual statutory audit and internal audit.
Requirements
* Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.>
* Minimum 5 years post‑qualified commercial experience.
* Experience in a shared‑service environment desirable but not essential.
* Ability to combine commercial understanding with financial technical knowledge to support client requirements within financial regulations.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools.
* Strong systems knowledge – PeopleSoft experience an advantage but not required.
