Property and Facilities Officer
Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin 15
3D Personnel is working with a well-established Housing Body in the Dublin region. They are recruiting an experienced Property and Facilities Manager to join their Dublin team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Blanchardstown and involves some travel to other locations such as Dundalk, Kells, and North County Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage facilities and contracts for apartment developments, head office, and sub-offices.
2. Prepare facilities management budgets and cyclical servicing programmes.
3. Contribute to annual budgeting with facilities budgets for various sites.
4. Review tenders from external contractors in line with procurement policies.
5. Assist in technical appraisals of new development proposals.
6. Coordinate cyclical services like gas, electrical testing, fire safety, Legionella testing, lift servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.
7. Oversee response repairs and maintenance.
8. Conduct fire and safety risk assessments and inspections.
9. Manage estate maintenance, including grass cutting, refuge facilities, and development works.
10. Assist in preparing 30-year maintenance budgets and new development appraisals.
11. Maintain health and safety documentation for each development.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Property Services Regulatory Authority Licence (Type D).
* Degree in Property, Surveying, or related field, or significant experience in property/facilities management, especially with OMCs.
* Willingness to undertake professional development.
* Member of RICS or SCSI.
* Certifications such as Managing Safely in Construction or PSDP.
* Full driving license and appropriate insurance.
