Talbot Hotel Cork - Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer
Talbot Hotel Cork, part of the Talbot Collection, is currently recruiting for a Full & Part-time Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the Leisure Centre and deliver well-organised swim classes in line with 4-star standards. This role emphasizes providing exceptional service to members and guests while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment. The Leisure Centre Attendant/Swim Teacher/Fitness Trainer will report to the Leisure Centre Manager.

Responsibilities include:
1. Conducting programmes and assessments
2. Teaching fitness classes
3. Teaching swimming lessons
4. Supervising the swimming pool area
5. Maintaining the highest safety standards
6. Presenting a professional appearance and attitude at all times
7. Maintaining high standards of customer service
8. Acting immediately and appropriately to secure safety during emergencies
9. Performing other duties as assigned
10. Ensuring the safety of participants in their classes
11. Instructing and evaluating students in swim lessons
12. Preparing for swim lessons (facilities, equipment, lifeguard duties)
13. Supervising, organizing, and executing swim lessons, including assigning children to levels
Candidate requirements:
1. Friendly and professional attitude
2. Assistant or Full WSI, Swim Ireland Swim Teacher, or equivalent qualification
3. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
4. Availability to work variable shifts
5. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
6. Reps Ireland group fitness instructor or relevant qualification
7. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
