The Role
Engineering Manager – REF: 2603
The Engineering Manager will join our Water design team at our Dublin office (or Kilkenny office) and will be responsible for:
Client relationship management and business development—maintaining and growing existing work and winning new projects.
Leading a team of engineers to deliver projects, manage performance, and develop competency.
Project lead for design and contract management from conceptual to completion on water sector projects, including municipal water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants.
Leading the project engineering team in developing preliminary and detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings.
Collaborating with and planning design work and deliverables with the wider process MEICA team.
Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, Health & Safety requirements, and regulations.
Attending progress meetings with our Water design team, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
Engineering degree (Level 8 or higher) in Mechanical, Process, or a similar discipline.
10+ years of post‑graduate and relevant design experience; CEng beneficial but not essential.
Experience in the Water industry.
Experience with software packages such as SUMO, WAVE, AFT or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Full driving licence and own transport required.
Fluent written and spoken English essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
