Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
* Develop, commission, and support automation control systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern automation technologies
* Develop software for bespoke machinery and manufacturing systems
* Engage directly with customers to understand and deliver technical requirements
* Review and improve current technologies and processes
* Support operations with technical problem-solving
* Maintain project documentation and manage change control
Requirements
* Third-level degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
* Practical experience in automation (Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA beneficial)
* Networking knowledge (Cisco certification or VMware experience advantageous)
* Understanding of robotics and safety standards
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
* A full driving licence
