Job Title: Employment Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with clients referred by the Department of Social Protection to provide personalized employment support services.
Job Description:
This role involves working with a dynamic and adaptable individual who can manage a caseload of clients, coordinating internal support specialists and external organizations to provide a planned support service to each client. This includes identifying barriers to employment, developing case management plans, and providing one-to-one advice and support to guide clients towards sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage robust case management plans for each client, focusing on sustainable full-time employment.
* Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify client goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including intensive job search support when clients are job-ready.
* Identify, structure, and recommend training solutions in consultation with in-house tutors to meet specific learning and training needs of clients.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local labour market and organize daily schedules that include face-to-face meetings, phone calls, online meetings, and email correspondence with clients and other service providers.
Requirements:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent, minimum three years experience working in customer-focused environments, strong IT skills, and excellent administrative skills are essential. Experience in delivering presentations and working effectively with diverse individuals is also necessary. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
