Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to fill the position of a residential disability nurse in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing direct care to residents with varying levels of need, including those with Behaviours of concern, autism and dementia.
* Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Maintaining accurate records of resident's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs.
* ID trained with the ability to confidently manage challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
* A full driver's license and willingness to drive house vehicles is an advantage.
Requirements:
* Degree in nursing or related field.
* Valid registration with relevant nursing council.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work 24-36 hours per week and adapt to changing circumstances.
