We’re hiring an Automation Engineer to support the performance and reliability of manufacturing control systems at a GMP facility. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on system optimisation, digitalisation, and technical support across production operations.
The Role:
* Own and manage automation systems and associated infrastructure (SCADA, PLC, OT).
* Lead small projects to improve uptime, reliability, and performance.
* Oversee system access, data backups/restores, and issue resolution with vendor support.
* Contribute to capital projects and automation strategy alignment.
* Ensure documentation, testing, and processes meet quality and regulatory standards.
* Support global standardisation and digital innovation initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
* Degree in Automation, Robotics, Computer Science or similar.
* 5+ years experience in GMP manufacturing with strong automation knowledge.
* Familiar with Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, and standards like GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11.
* Strong problem-solving skills, a team-oriented mindset, and clear communication.
* Experience delivering automation projects and mentoring within cross-functional teams.
