Machine Shop Technician evening shift (15:45-00:15 Monday to Friday) & night shift (23:45-08:15 Sunday night to Friday morning) Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor the Machine Shop Technicians will provide technical support on shifts to optimize equipment performance and maintain tooling to ensure high quality precision polymer extrusion.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, flexible and responsive to changing production demands.
This position will suit individuals who are focused on technical solutions, problem solving and continuous improvement.
We are hiring for one evening and one night shift position.
We are seeking applicants who meet the following essential criteria: Time served/qualified engineering technician Experience in the use of lathes, mills and general workshop equipment to a high standard Experience in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in a production environment Computer literate Ability to read and work from technical drawings Experience of working to high tolerances i.e.
one ten thousandths of an inch Previous polymer extrusion and solid works experience would be beneficial What we offer...
