Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide objective reporting of findings from audits in clearly laid out reports.
* Responsible for reviewing and approving action plans, and monitoring their implementation to completion.
* Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met through the development and implementation of SMART action plans, targets, and deadlines.
* Analyze audit findings to enable organizational learning and improve the quality of care provided.
* Collaborate with management, staff, and external regulatory bodies to monitor, assess, and improve the quality of care.
* Develop and review regulatory documentation, such as annual reports.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Studies or related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in a social care setting.
* Knowledge of New Directions Regulations and National Standards for persons with disabilities.
* Excellent understanding of HIQA principles.
* Licence and car required for travel within the service area.
