Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Remote Sensing Analyst. The responsibilities include analyzing and processing remote sensing data, applying geospatial technologies, creating detailed reports, and contributing to research and development of remote sensing methods. The analyst will ensure data accuracy and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support various projects.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
* Strong skills in Data Processing, Image Analysis, and Data Interpretation from satellite or aerial sources
* Knowledge of Data Visualization and Report Generation techniques
* Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages used for spatial data analysis
* Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
* Ability to work independently within a remote collaborative environment
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, or a related field is required
* Familiarity with IoT integration in remote sensing applications is a plus
