Gowan Auto is a member of the family-owned holding Company, the Gowan Group, and the exclusive importer and distributor of Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Honda, Jeep, Leapmotor, Opel, and Peugeot new passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and spare parts in the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the Head of IT, we are now seeking to recruit for the role of ERP Analyst to join our IT team. This role will partner with users across the business to understand and analyse requirements. This is a dual aspect role covering ERP analysis and application support and is not a coding position as all of our software development is outsourced.Core RequirementsDesign and optimise ERP-related processes to improve efficiency to include internal business processes and integrations to/from OEMs and dealers.Liaise with internal stakeholders to achieve the business objectives - existing and future scope.Liaise with 3rd party providers to interpret the requirements and prepare "User Requirement Documentation"Liaise with 3rd party providers to monitor the interim development cycle prior to delivery of iterative and final versions for user testing.Test and implement new modules and developments.Manage/perform implementation to go-live.Provide post-go-live support to users.Monitor uptake/effectiveness of new process to maximise return on investment.Actively share your knowledge with other IT team members such that all team members are competent in all business and system process areas.Provide day-to-day support for operations, users, and our dealer network.Respond within agreed SLA parameters for call response/resolution.Keep users updated on progress of outstanding issues.Escalate, seek & follow up support from 3rd parties where necessary.Monitor persistent issues and prepare business improvement specifications to prevent/minimise recurrence as part of your ERP Business Analyst role.Core Attributes5+ years\' experience in automotive importation & distribution.Knowledge of Keyloop (Kerridge) IMS (advantageous).Background in product management of automotive software (design, implementation, support).Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve process/system issues.Understanding of database structures and maintenance.Ability to manage cross functional teams to foster strong team spirit.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
