Stelfox is partnering with a U.S SaaS provider in Dublin City who are looking to hire a Senior Python Engineer as they look to completely modernise the backend platform services built on Python/Django to facilitate future scaling of their services.You will get involved in designing, developing and delivery highly scalable, reliable and performance application, as well as act as a Tech lead within a squad as the team is re-organised for this product modernisation initiative.We're looking for people with an appetite for learning, and the following core skillset:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.Ideally 5+ years in python coding.Proven experience in software development, with expertise in microservices, MongoDB / PostgreSQL/NoSQL as well as a strong understanding of cloud computing principles are a must.Experience with AWS services is desired.Leadership experience, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) products is a plus.Feel free to apply to find out more over a confidential conversation.Note - Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance is not provided for these roles.
