Our client is a fast-growing tech company are seeking a Temporary Office Manager to step in and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office during a busy period. This is a hands-on role suited to someone organised, approachable with excellent administration skills. Candidates should be available for an immediate start for a 6 month temporary contract.
Overview:
The Office Manager will be responsible for the essentials that keep the workplace running smoothly – from organising happy hours to managing snacks and supplies. You’ll be the go-to person for employees needing support and will make sure the office remains a welcoming, well-run space.
Key Responsibilities
* Event planning & culture support – coordinate happy hours, small team events, and office socials.
* Vendor management – liaise with suppliers for snacks, catering, office equipment, and cleaning/maintenance services.
* Office administration – manage access badges, maintain supplies, handle post and deliveries, and ensure meeting rooms are stocked and presentable.
* Facilities support – act as first point of contact for any office issues, escalating where needed.
* Employee support – assist with onboarding basics such as desk set-up, equipment requests, and office orientation.
* General admin – support the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in an Office Coordinator, Office Manager, or Administrative Support role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
* Proactive and approachable, with strong communication skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Confident using MS Office/Google Workspace and general collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
