Job Title: Production Assembly Specialist
Location: Wicklow, Ireland
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of a production team responsible for assembling entire products or components. Tasks may vary based on business requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* To meet weekly production schedules and build order quantities stated on production works orders.
* Effective communication with area supervisors and colleagues to resolve daily issues and ensure adequate staffing levels.
* Maintaining a clean working environment on the production floor by participating in lean/5s initiatives.
* Compliance with company standard operating procedures, policies, and quality systems within the production area.
* Producing high-quality products in accordance with established quality systems and bill of materials.
* Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols within the production department and reporting concerns to the health and safety representative or area supervisor.
* Adapting to changing production training profiles and being flexible with job rotation within the department.
* Attending relevant meetings to stay informed about production area issues and company-wide communications.
* Accurate and timely reporting of production activities, machine problems, and quality concerns to production supervisors.
* Responsible tool and equipment usage.
* Working effectively as part of an assembly line team and performing repetitive tasks with minimal errors.
* Possessing strong hand-eye coordination and ability to operate various assembly tools.
* Ensuring correct unit assembly and minimizing time, material, and wastage.
* Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential.
EHS Considerations:
* Tasks include riveting, wheel press operation, manual and powered assembly, nuttling, product packing, tapping, and rubber cutting.
Working Conditions:
* Minimal lifting and manual handling are undertaken, adhering to individual limits and capabilities. Lifting equipment is provided, and staff are trained on manual handling techniques at regular intervals.
* Adequate lighting and ergonomic seating/bench setup to ensure good ergonomics, with footrests available.
