In this role, you will protect Google's future through thoughtful and intentional security design implementations. You will provide beneficial outcomes to Googlers so that they will gain a heightened sense of situational awareness. You will secure the perimeter to allow a more open circulation within and to maintain Google's open culture. You will capture critical data to enhance real-time incident response and investigations to detect bad actors, to delay them and allow security adequate time to respond.
ResponsibilitiesLead the creation, review and publication of GRC policies, standards and procedures specifically governing the security and resilience of all physical and electronic security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, alarms).Develop, implement and maintain the overarching Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework for the systems lifecycle, ensuring safety and security are integrated from design through decommissioning.Lead the effort to ensure all security systems and operational procedures strictly adhere to relevant local, regional and global laws, regulations and internal Google policies (e.g., data privacy, critical infrastructure protection).Define and enforce governance standards for system planning, design, deployment, operational maintenance and decommissioning.
