We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, implement and support network and security services.
Job Summary
This role involves delivering advanced technical support to external clients and providing expert-level assistance during on-site engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver timely and effective resolution of network and security issues for external clients.
* Provide guidance to field engineers during on-site activities.
* Serve as the primary escalation point for all support-related incidents.
* Collaborate with vendors to expedite issue resolution.
* Utilize internal systems for accurate tracking and logging of support tickets.
* Employ network management tools to identify and resolve network performance issues.
* Participate in system assessments and deployments as required.
* Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of network services.
* Lead customer-facing projects ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
* Contribute to pre-sales efforts by providing technical input and solution design.
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in firewall installation, maintenance and support specifically Checkpoint and Fortinet.
* Checkpoint CCSM or CCSM Elite certification is mandatory.
* Fortinet NSE4 Certification or Fortinet Certified Professional is also necessary.
* Proficient in secure connectivity technologies including VPN, IPSEC and SSL VPN.
* Comprehensive knowledge of network and security best practices.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Aruba, HPE, Cisco and Juniper firewall, switching and routing technologies.
* Strong expertise in dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
* Experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) implementations and troubleshooting.
* Practical experience with Azure networking components.
* Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization protocols particularly RADIUS.
