About the Role

We're seeking a technically-minded Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong foundation in software engineering and a keen design sense to lead our marketing. This role combines strategic digital marketing (95%) with occasional IT support (5%), requiring someone who can bridge the gap between marketing creativity and technical execution.

Important Note: During the initial training period, you will be required to process student bookings through HubSpot. This is a critical component of our business operations, as HubSpot serves as our central booking processing system. Understanding this workflow is essential to effectively managing our marketing automation and customer journey optimisation.

Primary Responsibilities (95% - Digital Marketing)

HubSpot Marketing Operations

* Manage and optimise our HubSpot marketing platform, including workflows, automation, and integrations
* Process student bookings through HubSpot (required during initial training period to understand our core business operations)
* Build and maintain marketing automation sequences to nurture leads through the customer journey
* Configure and manage HubSpot CRM properties, custom objects, and reporting dashboards
* Ensure data integrity and proper integration between HubSpot and other marketing tools

Email Design & Campaign Management

* Design highly converting email templates using HubSpot Email Template builder
* Create engaging email campaigns from concept to execution, including A/B testing strategies
* Optimise email deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates
* Segment audiences and personalise email content based on user behaviour and demographics

Web Design & Development

* Design and develop landing pages optimised for conversion using HubSpot CMS or similar platforms
* Build and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor page builder
* Implement responsive web design principles to ensure seamless experiences across devices
* Collaborate on website updates, user experience improvements, and conversion rate optimisation
* Occasionally utilise front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for minor customisations and adjustments
* Work collaboratively with third-party developers on more complex technical implementations
* Manage WordPress plugins, themes, and site performance optimisation
* Support integration and API connections between marketing systems
* Document technical processes and create training materials for the team

Social Media & LinkedIn Management

* Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
* Create engaging social media content that aligns with brand voice and campaign objectives
* Manage LinkedIn company page and employee advocacy programmes
* Monitor social media metrics, engagement rates, and audience growth
* Implement social media advertising campaigns and optimise for performance
* Engage with community members and respond to comments and messages

Campaign Management & ROI Analysis

* Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (email, social, web, paid media)
* Track campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights
* Calculate and report on marketing ROI, attribution modelling, and revenue impact
* Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to monitor KPIs and campaign effectiveness
* Conduct regular performance reviews and optimise campaigns based on data

Secondary Responsibilities (5% - IT Support)

* Provide basic technical troubleshooting for a small team (infrequent support required)
* Assist team members with occasional software and hardware issues as needed
* Full comprehensive training will be provided for all IT support responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor customisations
* Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub (certification preferred)
* Demonstrated ability in email design and development
* Proficiency with WordPress and Elementor page builder
* Knowledge of responsive web design principles and best practices
* Understanding of APIs, integrations, and marketing technology stacks
* Basic IT troubleshooting skills for supporting a small team with infrequent technical issues

Marketing Skills

* 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with focus on campaign execution
* Strong design sense with an eye for aesthetics, layout, and user experience
* Proven track record of designing and executing successful email marketing campaigns
* Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content
* Familiarity with social media management tools
* Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing strategies and B2B social media best practices
* Strong understanding of marketing analytics, KPIs, and ROI measurement
* Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, and user experience design
* Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices

Additional Requirements

* Willingness to learn our student booking processes during the onboarding period
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy (critical for booking operations)
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to collaborate effectively with third-party developers on technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

* Examples of previous web development projects (highly desirable)
* HubSpot Marketing Software Certification (highly preferred)
* HubSpot Email Marketing Certification
* HubSpot CMS for Marketers Certification
* HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification
* HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
* WordPress development experience and familiarity with WordPress ecosystem
* Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva
* Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics platforms
* Experience with paid social media advertising (LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
* Experience with marketing automation platforms beyond HubSpot
* Experience in growth marketing or performance marketing
* Understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
